Run effective process discovery interviews with stakeholders
Discovering current processes requires structured interviews that capture how work actually flows, not how people think it should. Prepare open-ended prompts, map steps, identify pain points, inputs, outputs, exceptions and decision points. Record permissions and tools used. Validate the map with participants afterwards and look for quick wins and automation opportunities. This approach produces accurate baselines for redesign and measurable improvement.
