Apex Innovations is looking for a contract Scrum Master to support two agile teams working on our healthcare platform. This is a 9-month contract with high potential for extension. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and help the team continuously improve their processes. The teams are cross-functional, including developers, QA engineers, UX designers, and product owners. You will coach team members on agile principles, track sprint metrics, and produce reports for leadership. The healthcare domain brings unique challenges including regulatory compliance, patient safety, and integration with legacy systems. You will help the team navigate these complexities while maintaining velocity and quality. The role requires a pragmatic approach to Scrum that balances framework adherence with organizational realities. You will also work with other Scrum Masters to share practices and improve the overall agile maturity of the organization. Strong facilitation skills and emotional intelligence are essential.

Requirements

3+ years of Scrum Master experience in a software development environment. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required; Advanced CSM preferred. Experience with agile tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar). Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience with metrics and continuous improvement. Ability to work with remote and distributed team members.
