Summit Ventures is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to turn our retail data into actionable insights. You will work with sales, marketing, and operations teams to understand their analytical needs and build dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses. This role involves data extraction, transformation, modeling, and visualization using tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, and our cloud data warehouse. You will support strategic decision-making by identifying trends, opportunities, and risks. The role requires strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data into clear stories for non-technical audiences. You will also contribute to data governance, quality assurance, and the development of our analytics infrastructure. This is a high-impact role in a data-driven organization that values evidence-based decision making. The retail domain is fast-moving, so you will need to balance speed with accuracy. Requirements

3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, or related field. Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics language (Python or R). Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker). Strong data modeling and ETL skills. Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift). Excellent communication and storytelling skills. Experience in retail or e-commerce is a plus. Knowledge of statistical methods and A/B testing.
