Apex Innovations is looking for a contract Project Manager to lead a major EHR system implementation for a leading healthcare provider. This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension. You will manage the full project lifecycle including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication. You will coordinate with clinical staff, IT teams, and vendor partners to ensure timely delivery. The project involves migrating patient data, training hundreds of users, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. You will produce weekly status reports, manage the project budget, and escalate issues appropriately. This role requires someone who can navigate complex organizational structures and maintain composure under pressure. Strong healthcare IT experience is highly valued. The contract offers competitive hourly rates and the opportunity to work on a high-visibility project.

Requirements

4+ years of project management experience. PMP certification preferred. Experience in healthcare IT or EHR implementations. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). Proficiency in MS Project or similar tools. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's degree required. Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
