Summit Ventures is hiring a Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial real estate development projects across the Rocky Mountain region. You will manage projects from initial feasibility through construction completion and tenant occupancy. This includes land acquisition, entitlements, design development, contractor procurement, and project closeout. You will manage project budgets ranging from $10M to $50M, ensuring profitability and schedule adherence. The role requires extensive stakeholder management including investors, architects, contractors, municipal authorities, and tenants. You will produce monthly financial reports, manage change orders, and resolve disputes. Risk management is critical, particularly around environmental regulations, zoning changes, and market fluctuations. You will lead a team of project coordinators and collaborate with internal departments including finance, legal, and marketing. This is a senior role with significant autonomy and decision-making authority. Real estate development experience is essential.

Requirements

7+ years of project management experience in commercial real estate development or construction. PMP certification required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, or related field. Experience with Procore, MS Project, or similar PM tools. Strong financial acumen and budget management skills. Knowledge of building codes, zoning, and environmental regulations. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Real estate license preferred.
